Rachel Coen joined LACCM in 2006 as a staff attorney in the General Law Unit, handling eviction defense, public and subsidized housing issues, and fair housing matters. In law school, Rachel was the Executive Editor of the Review of Law & Social Change, served as a board member of the Prisoners' Rights & Education Project, participated in the law school's Immigrant Rights Clinic, and was a member of the National Lawyers Guild. Rachel's work experience includes summer internships at the Center for Constitutional Rights and Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. and, prior to law school, full-time work with the group Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting.  Rachel is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
