Rachel Brown joined LACCM in 2005 as a staff attorney in the Elder Unit, where she handles Medicare and disability rights issues, among other elder law issues. Rachel is active in LACCM’s Community Lawyering and Litigation working groups, and is a co-chair of the Worcester County Bar Association’s Committee on Services to the Poor & Homeless. Before coming to LACCM, Rachel was a legal advocate and law clerk at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she worked on a class action lawsuit against the MBTA under the Americans with Disabilities Act and represented clients in MassHealth and Medicare matters. Rachel also interned at Massachusetts Correctional Legal Services, the Boston Medical Center Domestic Violence Project, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the City Attorney Prosecutor’s office in Columbus, Ohio. Rachel is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District of Massachusetts.
