Jamian (Jamie) Brent joined LACCM in 2008 as a staff attorney in the Families & Children Unit, handling complex divorce, custody, support and visitation matters. During law school, Jamie completed internships with the Child Abuse Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorneyís Office, the Massachusetts Attorney Generalís Office, Criminal Bureau, the Massachusetts Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, and Federal Magistrate Judge Marianne Bowler. As an upper level student, Jamie participated in Northeastern Law Schoolís Domestic Violence Clinic, advocating on behalf of victims seeking abuse prevention orders in Dorchester District Court. Prior to joining LACCM, Jamie worked as a volunteer attorney with Greater Boston Legal Services in the Family Unit. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
