Hinna joined LACCM in 2008 as a staff attorney in the Benefits Unit and as an attorney in the Family Advocates of Central Massachusetts, LACCM's medical-legal collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She primarily handles matters concerning welfare and disability benefits, as well as MassHealth cases.
As a law student, Hinna interned in the Family and Children’s Unit at LACCM and at the General Counsel’s office at UMass Memorial. She also participated in the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic at UConn School of Law. Before joining LACCM, Hinna was a law intern at the Worcester Superior Court. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi. Hinna is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
