Dianne started work at Central Mass. Legal Services (before LACCM was established) in September 1981 as a volunteer in the elder unit. She was hired as a permanent employee to be an advocacy paralegal in February 1982, focusing primarily on elder law. She served as coordinator of the elder unit for many years prior to being promoted to Senior Paralegal. She has served on numerous committees and advisory boards including the Mass. Bar Elder Law Committee, Supreme Judicial Court Gender Bias Study, Anna Maria College Paralegal Studies Advisory Board, Central Mass. Area on Aging Advisory Board (serving as Vice Chair and Chairperson for several years) and the Attorney General's Elder Abuse Roundtable. Dianne was named Advocate of the Year in May 2003 at the Worcester County Bar Association Equal Justice Reception. Dianne has served as a resource to staff and community agencies on elder issues. She has conducted many trainings and presented at conferences on a variety of elder issues including elder abuse, guardianship, MassHealth, Medicare, housing, government benefits and advance directives.
